I didn't know that graphics had a bearing on how good Sonar works. My understanding, and you should double check this as video is out of my area, is that on the Inspirons the Intel graphics are integrated on the motherboard and are used in low power situations, and the other graphics are discrete cards that you would use for games and such. My current Inspiron has Intel graphics and IDT audio. They both list Waves MaxxAudio for audio but I'm thinking that's software. The 5721 has a Realtek audio codec, Intel and AMD Raedon graphics. The 5720 has an IDT audio codec, Intel & nVidia graphics. The N7110 has a Realtek audio codec, Intel and nVidia graphics. They are the N7110 (the oldest one), the 57. There are 3 Dell models named Inspiron 17R. I don't know how Newegg's model names correspond to Dell models. I have an old version of Sonar and an old laptop and I doubt that anyone else here has even that much acquaintance with it.ĭELL Inspiron 17R (i17RM-2581sLV) Intel Core i5 3337U(1.80GHz) 17.3" 8GB DDR3 1600 1TB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4000ĭELL Inspiron 17R (i17RM-2742sLV) Intel Core i7 3537U(2.00GHz) 17.3" 8GB DDR3 1600 1TB HDD AMD Radeon HD 8730M I doubt if you will get a definitive answer here.
